Snug as a bug in a rug

I took Mikey out to watch a soccer game that Ryan was coaching. This was the first time that he got to wear his coat. When I put it on him he just fell back because he had so many clothes on. He didn't even move. I was so glad that my camera was close by!

Playing with Grandpa

Ryan's dad was able to come and visit us for Thanksgiving. He brought Mikey his very own teddy bear from when he was a boy! That's one old bear! HA!

Thaksgiving Day

Mikey had a wonderful first Thanksgiving. He was so thankful that Mommy and Daddy were home all week! Just this week he started climbing up on things so we lowered his crib mattress. Also, his front upper tooth started coming in. Here are some pictures of his Thanksgiving meal. He had turkey and rice along with green beans. He even tasted some pumpkin pie, but was not a big fan!

Photo Shoot

Last Saturday we had some family pictures taken. I was so worried because the weather around here was windy and cooler than I thought it was going to be. We bundled Mikey up in the stroller as we went looking for the perfect spot to shoot our pictures. He did a great job! You can look at some of our pictures here. Now comes the hard part...deciding which pictures to order! If you are in need of a photographer I would highly recommend the one that we used. I should have known that she would be great because her name is Courtney too! HA HA!

Happy Halloween

Mikey's first Halloween began with a Palmisano tradition of carving pumpkins. Ever since Ryan and I started dating, we've carved pumpkins together on Halloween night. It's not an original family tradition, I realize, but it's a tradition none the less. We even named the first ones Spooks and Smiles. This would be a great place to insert a picture of those 2 pumpkins of long ago. But those that know me well, will not be suprised to find out that I didn't take a picture of them. But I digress! Here are some pictures of Mikey's first Halloween experience.

Curious about all the candy.

All in all it was a great night. Ryan and I were way more excited than Mikey was, but that's the way it usually is around here. For now anyway!
