First haircut

Yesterday we took Mikey to get his first haircut. I was worried that he would fuss and cry the whole time. But, he did a really great job. He just sat in my lap and I got to hold him the entire time. Ryan stayed behind me so that Mikey had someone to look at. All in all, it was a great experience.

These boots are made for walking...

No, Mikey is not walking just yet. But we are certainly working on it. Just this week he took 2 steps without holding on to anything. This has become one of Mikey's favorite things to do.

No more bottles! Although I won't miss washing all those parts every single night! :)

No more rear-facing car seat. This was Mikey's first time in his car seat on the way home from the hospital. Can you believe how tiny he was?!

Happy Birthday

Mikey had a wonderful birthday weekend! I cannot believe he is already one! This year has gone by so fast. But, yet it seems like Mikey has been in our lives forever. Everybody told me how quickly the baby stage would go by. I didn't believe them until now!
